Calculation methods
LMP method (Naegele's rule): First day of last period + 280 days (adjusted for cycle length). Conception method: Conception date + 266 days. IVF transfer: Transfer date + 261 days (day 5) or + 263 days (day 3). The due date is an estimate — only about 4% of babies arrive exactly on the EDD.
